The space shuttle desk top mobile is a great conversation piece that combines art and motion. It uses both poles of a magnet to rotate in constant movement. For example, whether or not it has a battery, the largest magnet keeps the mobile still while at rest. Add the battery and give the mobile a soft push with a finger and the repellent movement begins.
