About the Larimar Stone:
Larimar, a rare natural blue stone, is known as the Caribbean gemstone. The colors of the stone range from a light sky blue to a deep oceanic blue with white mottled patterning. Larimar was recently discovered in the Dominican Republic when fishermen found the colored pebbles washed ashore on a beach as a result of an earthquake. Less than 10% of the Larimar stone found is suitable for use in jewelry. Marahlago uses only the highest grades of natural Larimar stone to create the beautiful pieces offered here.
