There are 8 types of sea turtles found world wide. This sea turtle pendant is modeled after the Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas). All eight species of sea turtles are listed as threatened or endangered on the U.S. Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants List.
This pendant measures over an inch from arm to arm and head to foot. The turtle is full of detail, the carving has been partially oxidized to bring out more charm and then polished to high sheen. The bail on the back is large enough so that he fits on most chains or cords.
