This platter by Kiku Handmade features a section of transparent light plum glass, bordered by a section of wispy salmon-white glass, and features their cherry blossom drawing screen printed in raisin and lightest pink enamel, then fused in a kiln to about 1400 degrees. It is then cold worked on wet saws and grinders, then returned to the kiln to slump into a mold to about 1250 degrees.
Screen-printed and made by artist Laurie Freivogel, these make great wedding and housewarming gifts.
